Stunning Senufo female figure, with a long neck in the same size as the torso, very short legs and long arms with oversized hands. These features together with a excellent carved head gives the figure a very powerful expression.
Provenance: Peter von Busch (1935-2016), Art Historian, Ethnologist, Museum chief for the Naval Museum in Karlskrona, expert in the Swedish Antique roadshow "Antikrundan". Started to collect Tribal art in the 1950´s.
