Agnes Cleve, (1876-1951), painter, Sweden

Agnes Cleve was one of the pioneers in art modernism in Sweden. She and her husband John Jon-And were friends with Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter, members of the art group "Der blaue Reiter". That group inspired Cleve and Jon-And in their work. She studied, 1913, in Paris for  Henri le Fauconnier and André Dunuyer. Signed and dated Palermo 15 jan -22
