Dan Mask, Liberia

Very old mask (probably late 19th C.) from the Dan people in Liberia. The mask has a lovely shiny glass patina of age and usage..

Provenance:  Max Willborg 1933-2001, Tribal Art Dealer in London and Stockholm. This mask comes from Max Willborgs own collection of tribal art. Max son Peter inherited it after his death.
