Classic Algerian silver belt buckle "mentega"

0.00

This is a classical "menteqa" belt buckle popular in large parts of Algeria. Its use seems to have been much more popular in the eastern part of the country, deeply foraying into the mountaineous inner part. Sizes varied hugely as the ornamentation used, with often a khamsa, a fish or even hand with a flower.
