Swedish Modernist Stool In Pine
Stunning modernist stool in stained pine. Made in the 1930´s. Possibly inspired by West African stools. The stool is attributed to the Swedish architect Ernst Spolén (1880-1974). The construction of the stool is very similar to other “Sportstugemöbler” ( holiday cottage furnitures ) in pine designed by Spolén in the 1930´s.
